Ihsan Ghani is one of Pakistan’s foremost experts in national security, internal security, and counterterrorism, with decades of distinguished service in key security and law enforcement institutions. He has served as National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), Director General of the Intelligence Bureau, Director General of the National Police Bureau, Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and as an officer in the Pakistan Navy.

He is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of House of Commons Academy, where he leads academic direction and training standards.

At House of Commons Academy, he teaches the Security component of Pakistan Affairs for CSS and PMS aspirants. His teaching draws on extensive field and policy experience, enabling students to understand Pakistan’s internal security environment, counterterrorism framework, and strategic challenges in a clear and analytical manner. His sessions are designed to build conceptual strength and prepare aspirants for security-related questions with confidence and precision.
